Meet Shoua Nelson, RN

"Home grown and raised, Shoua is a graduate of California State University, Fresno. She earned her Master in Nursing with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner in 2018. Her masters research was selected and presented at the 32nd Annual Nursing Research Conference at St. Agnes Kremen Medical Educational Center in association with Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Mu Nu Chapter.
Shoua has been serving the community through Hinds Hospice since 2015. Prior to this, she worked in acute care with a focus in rehabilitation. For her career, Shoua chose the scenic route, first becoming a certified nursing assistant, then a licensed vocation nurse, then a registered nurse, and ultimately finished her nurse practitioner education. Shoua is dedicated to providing you the best care while keeping your goals in mind.
During her spare time, she enjoys easy hikes and canoeing adventures along the San Joaquin River with her husband and dogs."
