Meet Lisa Eccles Crenshaw, BS, BA, RN
the Director of Merced Outpatient Services at Hinds Hospice

Registered Nurse
Lisa is a graduate of University of California, Davis with a double major. She has extensive experience in Infusion Therapy, Home Health Care Management, Hospice, Rehabilitation, and Psychiatric Nursing Management, including adolescent and adult care. She has been a nurse for 30 years, which includes a licence to practice in New Zealand and experience at a private hospital in the United Arab Emirates in the 1980’s. Born in Massachusetts, Lisa went overseas with her parents and 5 siblings at the age of 8 and was raised in the Peace Corps, in Western Samoa and India. Upon returning to the States as a teenager, she completed her college education and moved to the Middle East to work for 4 years. She moved to California in 1987, initially working in San Diego then moving to Modesto to live closer to her mother as she began her family. Lisa continues to travel and is raising two beautiful children, who are currently teenagers. Her passions are photography and her new job at Hinds Hospice as the Director of Outpatient Services in Merced. She is very excited to help grow the agency and make connections with the Merced Community as Hinds Hospice continues to care for our family members who are on their end of life journey. Lisa feels passionate about providing the best possible end of life care based on her extensive experience with patients in the home setting and personal experiences with the loss of her grandmother, mother and brother. She looks forward to working with the wonderful and supportive Hinds Hospice team to forge new and stronger relationships within the Merced community.
