Graduate Diploma in Women's Ministries - Spiritual Care and Counseling
Master of Arts in Ministry - Spiritual Care and Counseling, Specialized Focus in Grief and Resilience

Connie comes to Hinds after having worked the past 10 years in Spiritual Care and Counseling. She has served as a spiritual counselor, working with individuals, couples and families in the local congregation. Additionally, she has served as a clinical staff chaplain at Kaiser Permanente and Community Regional Medical Center. Prior to joining Hinds Hospice, she created and managed the bereavement program for another local hospice agency, serving the communities of Kern, Tulare, Fresno and Madera counties. It was during this time that she developed a passion for the work of hospice.

Connie studied at Fresno Pacific Biblical Seminary, where she completed a mixed degree, which included study in both the spiritual care and MFT programs. Her specialized focus and study in grief and resilience included an intercultural focus, as well as a focus in the area of women's studies. Connie moved to Fresno from the Bay Area in 2000. She has been married 25 years, and has two grown children. She enjoys creating art and refinishing and repurposing furniture.
